No offense to Mike Dillard, whom I truly do respect and feel is a great marketer, but don't think for a minute that he didn't know it was HIS NAME and reputation that was being built and spread around the internet when the Magnetic Sponsoring ebook hit the market. True - he built a system for people to promote the ebook (as an affiliate) and capture leads, but those leads were really opting in to HIM, not the referring affiliate. They were becoming HIS customers - not those sending him the sales! These people were unknowingly engaging in some good old fashion affiliate marketing, but thought they were generating their own hot leads using the system.

And there isn't anything inherently wrong with that. These people make major moolah each and every month outside of their "mlm" bonus checks. And NO, I'm not anti-affiliate marketing by any means - quite the contrary - I'm a big advocate of affiliate marketing, territory many network marketers never come to understand or appreciate.

But when it comes to network marketing, YOU need to be one who "owns the relationship" with the leads, building YOUR reputation as a solid player in the mlm game, and promoting YOUR cause - you need to be in control with a product that builds YOUR BRAND, not theirs!
